BioDiY or Biomaker manufacturing aims to offer secondary schools in Europe a "Low Cost" alternative to DIY (Do It Yourself) laboratory equipment using maker technology.

Here we present our results in the form of guidance documents

We will be adding more orientation guides as we go along.

In this guide we will present the necessary indications to be able to construct a microscope adapter in any high school in Europe.BioDiY or Biomaker manufacturing aims to offer secondary schools in Europe a “Low Cost” alternative to DIY (Do It Yourself) laboratory equipment using maker technology.
In this guide we will give you the steps to build a magnetic stirrer at any secondary school in Europe.

The initial project uses a Waag Society PCB, which manages the fan, heating pad and LCD screen and a moles board where the temperature probe and temperature rise and fall buttons are connected.

For our project we have designed a shield plate that integrates the management of all the peripherals (fan, heating pad, temperature probe, buttons and LCD), so that we no longer have to connect a separate moles plate. With this design we have also eliminated many of the cables from the original design, making it much easier to connect them at the end.
